We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. When you purchase an item your card will be charged at the time of the transaction.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card or Pay Pal to make purchases on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a Money Order or personal check. Personal checks will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. COD is not offered at this time.

Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal check. To order by check, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address on your receipt.

All orders placed by credit card are subject to address verification by our credit and fraud avoidance department, and this may delay the processing of your order. Orders shipping to an address different from the billing address may require additional information in order to protect consumers against credit card fraud that is overwhelming the internet today.

If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, we will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. Online Scuba will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at Online Scuba while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, please notify us so we can take immediate action to prevent any further unauthorized use. You must also notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

During each stage of the order process, you will receive the following email notifications:
  • Receipt of Order
  • Shipment Notification, including tracking number and carrier
  • Important order information (for example, any delays beyond the allotted time stated in our policies or actual shipping costs for rush or expedited requests).

If your email provider has a spam blocker or spam folder, please add Instructor@OnlineScuba.com or anything from OnlineScuba.com to the safe list otherwise you may not receive our emails.

In stock orders will be shipped within 48 hours (excluding holidays & weekends) and often the same day. Out of stock orders will usually ship within 2-3 business days. Orders shipping ground within the 48 contiguous States can expect to receive your order within 14 days. We will notify you of any delays beyond that time. If you request to receive your order in less than 14 days from the day it is placed, we will do our best to accommodate this and if we can't we will offer an alternative. If an item is not in stock and on back order or discontinued the customer will be offered an alternative or substitution. Certain items (i.e., complete gear packages) are tested and assembled by our service technicians and may be delayed by 1-2 days.

Satisfaction Guarantee / Closeout Policy

Your satisfaction is our top priority and we pride ourselves in our hassle free Return and Exchange Policy. We work with our vendors to guarantee the quality of the products that we offer and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to facilitate an exchange or a return to ensure your complete satisfaction (as long as the item is not used).

You can return purchased items (excluding used/antique & special orders) within 60 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund (less shipping charges, free shipping promotions will be deducted) subject to our Return Conditions. Closeout & clearance items can be returned within 30 days for a store credit of 75% of purchase price only. Please note that all returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, which can be easily obtained online. Items with manufacturing defects must be sent directly to the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms after 30 days.

Shipping Cost and Methods

To see what your shipping charges will be simply add the product(s) you want to the shopping cart and at the bottom there will be a button to click on in order to calculate shipping charges. Please note we cannot ship ScubaPro or Aqualung Products outside the US.

Since our shipping charges are calculated this way we reserve the right to ship via best method. USPS, UPS and FedEx are the only carriers we will use. If the delivery address is unable to receive regular U.S. mail, let us know in the checkout notes. Please note that some products are over sized and require additional charges calculated at the time of purchase. Shipping charges outside the Continental U.S are estimates only and additional charges may apply and will be charged at the time of shipping.

We are not responsible for shipping delays beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee shipping times outside the Continental U.S. due to customs, but general delivery time is 1 week from the date order ships. If you require faster shipping then note that in the checkout area and we will verify the amount.

If our system allows you to choose free shipping for your order, please understand that there are some limitations to this. Shipments containing items such as tanks, compressors, large bags, clearance items and/or large fins are considered heavy/over-sized, and may not qualify for free shipping. If you place an order for multiple items and your order total passes the free shipping threshold but you are still charged shipping it is because one or more of the items does not by itself qualify for free shipping. Many times those orders will qualify for free shipping and we will adjust the total before we ship this out for you. If an order is returned that qualified for free shipping the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges & Returns
We understand that occasionally a product you purchase from us may need to be exchanged or returned. In order to have this process run as smoothly as possible you need to follow the steps below.
  • Make sure the item returnable in accordance with our policies and return conditions, i.e. new and in original manufacturer packaging with tags attached to be received in our warehouse within 60 days* from the day you received the item as confirmed by the shipper. Orders received 11-1 still have the 60 days with an additional 30 days for exchanges or store credit. Used & Special Order items are non-returnable. (Clearance Item Policy is 30 Days and a 75% Credit toward another purchase.)
  • Request a RMA number by using our online form (opens in new window). Make sure you have your OnlineScuba.com or Amazon.com order number.
  • Write your Return Authorization Number (RMA#) clearly on the outside of the package with a copy of the return form you will print when completing the online form. If the RMA# is not visibly written on the outside of package it may be refused at delivery and we will not be responsible for shipping costs.

  • Send the package to us via the best method available in your area. For your protection, items must be returned shipping prepaid, insured for value and safely wrapped to prevent damage. We do not accept C.O.D. shipments. Please use carriers that offer delivery notification such as UPS, USPS, DHL or FedEx. Using one of these carriers will make shipment tracking possible. The merchandise is still your property until it reaches our warehouse and we are not responsible for any shipping damages occurring at this point.
  • Mail the items to the following address:

  • When your properly authorized pre-paid package is received back in our facilities, we will mark the date received on the package and inspect its condition. Any items returned that are used, damaged, or incomplete as described in our return conditions are subject to the following:
    • Charged a restock fee of up to 50% item purchase price depending on the damage
    • Returned at purchasers expense
    • 25% restock fee will be charged if any item is received past the allotted time
    • Unauthorized returns (no RMA#) will incur a 25% restock fee or refusal of package at our discretion.
  • Once the items have been visually inspected, your order will be sent to Shipping for an exchange or Accounting for a refund in accordance with these policies. Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed.
  • All shipping charges are the purchaser's responsibility. Items received in error will be returned at our expense. Orders that included free shipping offers will have the actual shipping deducted from the refund amount.

Lost or Damaged Items

If your order was lost or damaged in transit notify us immediately about the problem within 3 business days of receipt of the merchandise or 3 days after the scheduled delivery date in case of non-receipt. If you receive damaged merchandise or do not receive it at all, the carrier will need to conduct an investigation and we will offer you a replacement or a refund in the form of the original payment method after the lost or damaged items have gone through this investigation procedure.

In case of damage DO NOT discard any shipping materials or the manufacturer's packaging. Please re-seal the damaged product(s) using the original packaging materials. You must hold the package for at least 8 business days. If the carrier does not contact you to pick-up the damaged merchandise for damage inspection, then they have opted to waive the inspection and the merchandise can be discarded.

If you don't want to wait until the investigation is completed and you want us to send a replacement item right away, please let us know. We will ship the item right out to you (assuming it is in stock) but will have to charge your credit card for the replacement. We will refund the money for your original order once the carrier has completed their investigation.

Please note that USPS usually allows up to 21 days for domestic and 45 days for international deliveries. They do not allow us to start a trace for a lost package until the appropriate number of days has elapsed.

Return Conditions

Items must be returned in new (unused, untested, resalable) condition, in original manufacturer packaging with all tags attached with all accessories, kit components, promotional items and instruction manuals included.

Wetsuits must be carefully packaged to avoid creasing. The best method of folding a wetsuit is to lightly fold it at the knees and waist, placing a cardboard/foam tube inside each fold. Never fold a wetsuit vertically in half (like you might fold a T-shirt, for example).

Make sure you use a box that is the right size for the wetsuit so that:
  • It doesn't slide around (box is too big).
  • It isn't stuffed into the box (box is too small).

It is very difficult to remove creases from a wetsuit, and we will deduct a restocking fee if it is not properly packaged. Used is defined as worn or with obvious signs of wear, no attached tags, not in its original manufacturer packaging or any combination thereof. If the product is a wetsuit and you try it on, please let it air out before repacking as there will be a cleaning fee deducted if it has obvious odors.

Additional Shipping / Cancellation / Order Information

We fill all orders as quickly as possible as our customers simply won't accept anything less from us, and rightfully so. If an item has shipped, you of course, are still entitled to our 60 day refund. If the item is refused at the time of delivery there is a 30% restocking/cancellation/processing fee. If not acceptable and the product is part of an order with items that are available then the cancellation policy will still be followed.

Due to manufacturer regulations we cannot publish selling prices of certain products. For such products, the selling price will be replaced by a message asking you to call or e-mail us for pricing. If you purchase any of these items we will assume you have retrieved the selling price. You will pay for shipping with no tax unless you live in NV along with any special size charges, we will process the selling price manually after the card settlement. We do not sell any items for shipping only.

Multiple Purchase and Commercial Use: Any identical item purchased in quantities of 2 or more will be excluded from the 60 day money back guarantee. We suggest buying one to verify fit, usability etc. before buying multiple items. Any item purchased for commercial use will not be warranted for damage resulting from commercial use.

Replacement items for products that were shipped incorrectly will be sent with a call tag for return of the erroneous merchandise. If the original item is not back in our warehouse within 10 days from receipt, the credit card on file will be billed for the purchase price. When the replacement is received a credit will be issued. We are not responsible in any way for any miscellaneous charges incurred, overdraft or the like due to your business dealings with our company.

Stock is subject to prior sale. Delivery to carrier constitutes delivery to you. Shipping charges are not refundable unless the carrier has failed to meet the delivery commitment outlined in their shipping guide. OnlineSCUBA.com will only refund shipping charges when the carrier has failed to meet the delivery commitment and issued credit to OnlineSCUBA.com. The decision made by a carrier regarding a claim for refund is final.

Customers must be sure to communicate their correct shipping address to OnlineSCUBA.com. All shippers charge a $10.00 fee if an incorrect address has been provided. These fees will be transferred to the customer, only if the customer provided the incorrect shipping address. Shipping company will NOT accept special shipping instructions from dealer, other than "Ship To" Name and Address. International orders without a U.S. zip code are subject to an additional charge of $25 to process additional paperwork (this is waived on orders of $400 or more). International orders are shipped by USPS and will be billed at our actual cost. International shipping freight charges will be invoiced at actual cost. International orders can only be shipped to the billing address for the credit card being used.

Overseas Shipping and Alternate Shipping Address Form

Orders being shipped to APO, FPO or US Territory (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.) addresses are not considered to be international; they are considered to be U.S. Domestic mail and therefore no additional international charges will apply.

OnlineScuba has partnered with Bongo International Parcel and Mail Forwarding to service our international customers. Bongo International provides its customers with their very own US address (not a P.O. Box). Once you have a US address, you will be able to make purchases at our website as well as other US based online retailers. Bongo receives your purchases and logs them into their online system where you can consolidate them with other orders. This process saves international customers up to 82% off typical international shipping rates. (more info).

For orders being shipped to an address other than the Billing Addres, we require you to submit a verification form. Your order will not be processed until we have recieved a completed copy of this form by mail or fax.
