By adding a compact wing to the Pony Pac, you have the Companion BC, an ultra-compact travel BC. The Companion BC is 40% lighter than traditional BCs weighing in at only 5 lbs (2.3 kg). Take advantage of the versatility that a removable air cell can offer.

The Companion is 40% lighter than traditional BCD's weighing in at a mere 5 lbs and boasts a 30 lbs lift capacity in a Back Inflation Style Air Cell. Exclusive Micro-Pac Backpack gives the stability of a "hard pack" and the comfort of a "soft pack". It also makes packing for travel more compact. The Companion Travel BCD has two trim weight pockets with Velcro release that carry up to 5 lbs each

on 11/4/2010 		Good Question, but than answer is no unless you want to make lots of changes to the way everything hooks up and even then I dont see them compatible. Hope this helps and thanks for your question.

on 1/26/2012 		Is XS Scuba Companion compatible with any bladders with more lift or is this 30lb bladder only option with no possibility of upgrading?

on 2/2/2012 		You can buy the harness and attach any bladder you want is what we are told by XS Scuba. Let us know what kind of bladder you want to attach and we can confirm this for you.

on 2/2/2012 		Interesting... thisi is what XS Scuba told me: "The Companion BC is only available with the 30 lb air cell. We do not know of any other bladders that are compatible with the PonyPac Harness. Perhaps we will offer another air cell of larger volume in the future, but there are no plans to do so at this time."

on 3/31/2023 		Why should I buy this instead of the competitor's. I saw one on amazon for 34.98$. I was wondering if there is a reason to buy this when on amazon I get more money back on my investment. Does this one have fast internet integrated ?

on 4/3/2023 		Hello and thanks for your question, Kind of trying to understand what you are writing but the pice is $425 and if someone has it for $34.98??? Not sure they are selling this BCD. But if you buy it from it will come a full manufacturere warranty. This is weight integrated via Two trim weight pockets with Velcro release carry up to five pounds each.
