Aqualung Storm Open Heel Fins

The Storm is a great all-around fin ideal for travel. Produced using Monprene, a single material construction gives both durability and strength while maintaining exceptionally light weight, exactly what the traveling diver requires. The innovative foot pocket design has the advantage of a full foot fin for comfort with the versatility of an open-heel fin for sizing. Available in a wide range of 4 sizes covering from junior to adult.

on 12/5/2023 		I typically dive in warm water barefoot and use Aqualung hotshot fins, which I love, the size is perfect for travel, but I have a trip to Bonaire coming up and everyone is recommending hard sole boots for the beach dives. I am looking at Aqualung 3mm SuperLow Boots in size 10. I am pretty sure they will not properly fit in any of my current fins. I was looking at the Aqualung Storm Open Heel Fins. Would you recommend the Larger/X-Larger or 2X to pair with the size 10 Aqualung 3mm SuperLow Boots? If you have any other recommendation for a compact travel fin and hard sole boot please let me know. Thank you

on 12/7/2023 		Hi, Thanks for the question. Yes, it is sometimes recommended to size up to accommodate boots but not always necessary. For the Storm fins, you will want a size LG/XL. This accommodates sizes 9.5-11.5 so it will provide the extra room you will need. These are great fins that travel well. Sometimes when you're looking into smaller compact fins, they wear&tear more.
