Good Wrenches, Redundant "Set"

The quality of the individual wrenches is fine. As a set, however, there's redundancy. I' think it's two 1/2 inches (don't have the set handy). Why not have a 3/8" x 7/16" instead of a 7/16" x 1/2" and also a 1/2" x 9/16"?
