I just came back from 20 dives in the Bahamas. I used this to hold my computer and pressure gauge to my belt. It worked great. The spring tension was just right underwater. Out of the water it may have been a bit light but nothing bad. It would hold in place unless you stretched it out then didn't always retract completely. It was not terribly long which some retractors tend to be. The best thing was I could pick my color and style of clip. For the price you can't ask for more.
