Please tell me the difference between the material in the Surf-fur long parka and the Tru-West long parka.

Sure...This is a soft fleece fabric that is bonded with a wind proof and waterproof inner lining so only one layer of fabric is used. It dries quickly and it is reversible. It has an inner pocket for valuables and a longer cut on the coat for more protection from the elements. Surf-fur is the lightest weight per gram than any other parka...good for travel. Our fabric is breathable and Tru West is not. Tru West has a furry material on the inside that takes a long time to dry if it gets wet and it has two layers with the nylon on the outside.
