Lots of Air for this ASP
OK so I admit it, I am an Air Sucking Pig. But I am also a big guy so I have to figure that it is all relevant. I bought this tank becasue I could fill it to 3300 psi and with an extra 20 cubic feet of air I am now at least finishing my dive at about the same time as my wife. I also like the fact that it is negatively boyant by at least 5 pounds when empty. Kind of like a steel tank without the rust!!!

Hello,
Good questions, the tank is negatively buoyant at 500 PSI because it has so much aluminum that it weighs a bit more than a regular 80 cubic foot that is generally about 4 pounds positive at 500 psi. As far as valves go, it comes with a standard K valve that will work with a standard style regulator that has a yoke fitting, not a DIN which is a threaded male fitting that would fit into a female din style valve. We also have valves that allow for both yoke and DIN, so simply make your requests in the notes section after placing your order and we will take care of the rest.
Thanks,
Bill

I'm looking at getting my own tank and wonder if there is any advantage of having the 100cf over the 80cf cylinders. Other than the obvious, more air, i'm sure there are sacrafices.

Hey There,
The 100 has more air and tends to weigh more even when empty it stays in the negative 3 or 4 pounds as compared to the 80 cu ft which tends to be positive by about 3 pounds when air is lower than 500 psi. So, I would go with the 100 so I can wear less weight.
