Excellent fins!
these fins are excellent!! just got back from Cancun and did quite a bit of diving. I only get to dive once or twice a year and used to get leg and foot cramps ...no more with these fins. you glide through the water almost effortlessly. They are definitely worth the money.

which fin do you recommend for free diving for abalone? I'm looking at the oceanic and tuxa split fins

Either style is comparable, because we have used them for snorkeling, however it is mostly a preference, for an opinion we prefer the TUSA XPert fins
