Inside Velcro to section the pocket in case you don’t use the full capacity.

  • Smart D ring position. Large AISI 304 Stainless steel rings, 2 bent: 2 upper and 2 lower that are positioned intelligently with in your downward vision also functioning as leverage while inserting the weight pockets.

Mares Dragon with Air Control
It works with some faults. The fill button on the air control stuck after a few dives and I had to work through the on line retailer to return for service. Not real responsive. Came back repaired and I believe improved. The washer that seals the cuurogated hose attachment to the air bladder was misplaced by my cat and Online Scuba was no help in getting the part. Dolphin Scuba got me one in 2 days and LDS in 2 weeks. They arrived same day.
Overall good BC. After reading other posts, I always double check the weight pockets. I do think it fits a little large.

Questions & Answers

Question asked
on 4/25/2012
My waist is 46", Height 70", weight 230-235, what size do you recommend. I tried on a Med and I think it would work if I really had to. I had an XL aqua Lung Balance, but it loosened at 85 feet and I couldn't get it tight.

Based on what you have told me I think you are an XL, but would need to know your chest size. If it is say 44 and up then I say XL but if you are say a 42 then you would be a large. As for the depth, these BCD's come with a depth compensating cummerbund that will stay tight even when your wetsuit compresses at depth.
