IIkelite Underwater Video Housing for Canon VIXIA HF S20, HF S21 & HF S200

The Ikelite 6096 Underwater Video Housing is designed for the Canon VIXIA HF S20, HF S21 and HF S200 camcorders. The housing is compact and has mechanical controls, and is molded in clear polycarbonate. The housing includes an optical glass lens port with removable UR pro filter. The port is threaded, allowing the use of optional 67mm threaded macro lenses. The camcorders lens in too wide for wide angle conversion lenses to be useful. Useful wide angle options include Ikelite dome port #9306, or flat port #9306.1 for use with the Raynox DCR-730 high-definition wide angle lens.

The camera's LCD monitor can be viewed from the rear of the housing using the external mirror. The external mirror is hinged so that it can be opened to reflect the image from the camera's LCD monitor. Keep in mind the actual image will be reversed when viewed through the mirror. The magnified Super-Eye Viewfinder is provided for enhanced viewing of the HF S21 camera's optical viewfinder. Canon HF S20 and HF S200 cameras do not feature optical viewfinders and must be viewed using the mirror on the side of the housing.

The housing is easy to use and will allow you to capture the moment underwater in video or digital stills. Controls for the LCD screen touch pad provide full access to setting white balance, and the base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching the optional Pro Video Lite 3 battery pack. Other features and controls include: power on/off, record-start/stop, zoom, snapshot, auto/ manual Switch, and LCD touch screen (2 controls). The housing is rated to a depth of down to 200'.

The included aluminum tray and handles can be removed with just two nuts for packing. The housing includes two 3/8-16 threaded stud mounts with wing-nuts for attachment of PRO-2800, PRO-V8 or Pro Video mounting arms for underwater lighting. Optional weighted bases are available for added stability above or below the surface.
