Great way to start in underwater photography
My first underwater camera was an Intova HD Sport II. Though simple to use, it had it's limitations. After looking for a better options without paying an arm & a leg, I decided on the Ikelite housing and the Nikon L32 camera. With 20.1 mp resolution the camera takes great photos.

The Ikelite housing fits the camera perfectly and has worked well to depths of over 110'. The controls are easy to operate, even while wearing 7mm wet gloves. The zoom function is a bit tricky, and requires a light touch. The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is that the buttons are not labeled, so know your camera before you dive.

I have added a 8X Macro lens, for better focal range with closeup photography.

In short it's a great setup to get you started for around $400US ($500 Canadian).
