Ikelite SLR-DC Housing / Canon 6D
The Ikelite Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 6D Digital Camera is a durable waterproof case for the Canon EOS 6D full-frame digital SLR camera. enables you to capture images and video underwater to a maximum depth of 200' (60 m).
Mechanical controls on the housing provide access to all camera functions except the Multi-function lock switch, Depth-of-field preview button and Dioptric adjustment knob. The housing is constructed from clear polycarbonate, so as to be capable of withstanding underwater pressure and resisting corrosion while enabling you to monitor the O-ring seal with ease. A compatible Ikelite Standard or Modular lens port is required but sold separately. The available ports accommodate a wide range of Canon EF prime and zoom lenses, including fisheye, wide-angle, telephoto, and macro lenses (sold separately). The ports can be removed and replaced quickly with a simple positive locking system. Depending upon your choice of port, the housing has neutral or slightly negative buoyancy in freshwater.
An Ikelite digital TTL electrical bulkhead accepts the optional 4103.50 single, 4103.51 single or 4103.52 dual sync cord to attach an optional Ikelite DS Substrobe. Optional compatible Nikonos, Sea & Sea or Inon strobes can be attached via other optional sync cords.
As an alternative to the camera's LCD, you can use the housing's built-in glass optical viewfinder. Zoom gears for lenses are supplied. The housing is manufactured in the USA.
