The Proteus now has a larger field of vision.

IST’s newest mask, which uses varied-thickness construction to provide a secure yet forgiving fit, offers a wide field of vision, low internal volume and the ability to accommodate a range of facial profiles.

FEATURES

  • Despite the increase, the internal volume remains small because the lenses are brought closer to the eyes
  • The strap buckles are attached directly to the skirt (not the frame, unlike some designs) so they will not interfere with fitting, especially when it comes to people with wider facial profile
  • Soft, hypoallergenic skirt will not yield due to increased pressure
  • Pronounced nose pocket easy to access with gloves

on 10/20/2014 		I am a rookie at snorkeling. I have been twice and enjoyed. I have a narrow face. I will be using a snorkel mainly on vacation a few times a year. Do you recommend this mask, IST Proteus? I was thinking about a dry snorkel. What snorkel do you recommend?
