Description

Cressi Women's Travellight BCD

This jacket has been specifically designed for those who travel by plane as it is the result of painstaking research on the most suitable materials for reducing weight to a minimum. It has exactly the same characteristics as the Flex in the sea model but with the addition of the integrated Lock Aid weight system. Nothing has been left to chance in the search to achieve a record weight, beginning with the choice of the material, a 210 denier nylon which is light yet very strong. The back is soft and padded and has a rear rubber area with a strong grip and a double strap to safely block the tank.

Two generous zip up pockets allow stowing of even bulky accessories. On the back of the jacket two lead pockets allow for perfect distribution of the weights between these pockets and the Lock Aid integrated weight system. The control for the rear release valve has been placed at the front, on the lower right hand side of the jacket. All the D-rings are made from a light alloy. Travelight can be folded up in just a few seconds and fastened with a special retractable strap so that it can be stowed easily in its own carrying bag, which has a shoulder strap. Travelight’s very light structure and its anatomical shape make it a very tight-fitting and streamlined jacket once underwater and it offers very little resistance to forward movement.

Better than the Best
We got back about 2 weeks ago from our annual Bonaire dive trip, and our first to use the Travelight BCDs. WOW! We both agree that these are the most comfortable BCD’s we’ve ever used. The pockets are huge. The dump valve pulls are where you would expect them. And there are plenty of D-rings to hang “stuff” on, as needed. But most importantly, you can turn in any direction - left, right, head up, head down, roll, etc. with no effort. And they are perfect for being still in the water and taking video. Couldn’t be happier!!!

Question asked

Hello, I am interested in the lady travelight bcd but I am confused about the size I need. Usually I wear S in ladies bcd and XS in man bcd, but on cressi usa website the size chart is the same for man and lady bcd, so what size should I get S or XS? What is your exchange policy if it turn out I got the wrong size? Thanx, Rachel

Since this BCD is designed for Women, then you should probably go with the Small. If it turns out to not fit correctly, of course you can exchange it. To view our complete return policies, please visit http://www.onlinescuba.com/policies.aspx#exchanges.

I am looking to purchase a new regulator (all parts included) that is light weight. My current one is too heavy. I will be travelling for 4 months and need my gear to be as light as possible. I think the Cressi Womens travellight BCD is my purchase today. What regulator can you suggest.

Hi there, you should go with the Cressi MC9 Compact Balanced Regulator. This is the one included in our Travel Light package and it should work well for you. The link is below. http://www.onlinescuba.com/Cressi-MC9-COMPACT-Balanced-Regulator-P13740.aspx Let me know what your thoughts are and we will go from there for you.
